Director
Russian Soviet director, screenwriter, actor and producer. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1997). People’s Artist of the Russian Federation (2002). Graduated from the Directing department of VGIK (1975, class of I. Talankin). Since 1998 he is the Chairman of the Management Board and General Director of the Mosfilm Film Concern. He has directed over 20 films, many of which have won awards at various international film festivals around the world, from Shanghai to Chicago.
