Director
Spanish writer and director, his work has been mainly devoted to documentary filmmaking. He has received a whole host of awards and prizes, such as the Goya award for best short documentary film for RETURN TO VIRIDIANA (2014); he won 5 Gold Medals in the New York Film Festivals for NOSTROMO: DAVID LEAN’S IMPOSSIBLE DREAM (2017). 2001 SPARKS IN THE DARK was awarded the best short documentary at Premios Fugaz by CortoEspaña in 2019.
