Director
Born in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China. He studied at Beijing Film Academy. He was assistant director on several of Jia Zhang-ke’s feature films, including the festival selections A TOUCH OF SIN (2013), MOUNTAINS MAY DEPART (2015), and ASH IS PUREST WHITE (2018). THE BEST IS YET TO COME (2020) is his feature directorial debut.
