Born in Milan in 1972, he founded the Nocturno Cinema magazine in 1994 of which he is chief editor. He was curator of the retrospectives Italian Kings of the B’s and Spaghetti Western for the Venice IFF and was part of the selection committees of the IFFs in Rome, Locarno and Cannes. He directed the documentaries TOTALLY UNCUT, FERNANDO DI LEO: LA MORALE DEL CINEMA, I TARANTINIANI.
