From September 30 to October 2, 2022, for the first time in Khabarovsk and the Far East, a big event will take place – the international animation festival!
The review of professional Russian and foreign animation will focus on short films and animated series from the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
It will acquaint the audience with the best examples of foreign animation of the Asia-Pacific countries and Russian animation; present animation as one of the most modern and dynamically developing art forms; will bring together industry professionals and government officials to discuss the prospects for the development of the animation creative industry in the region and help form a new generation of animators in the Far East.
Applications for the festival are already underway and will last until August 10, 2022. The competition programs accept short animated films and episodes of animated series created since 2020. The out-of-competition program will include screenings of full-length cartoons, animation works by the guests of the show, retrospectives, collections of films from different countries of the Asia-Pacific region, master classes, creative meetings, and more.
The key event of the business program will be the round table “Current Strategies for Promoting Russian Content Abroad Under Sanctions. Creation of a film market within the framework of the Animur festival, in which representatives of regional and federal departments are invited.
