The film is based on two of the greatest creations of the Russian genius: N. Gogol’s short story THE NOSE and opera THE NOSE, created in 1930 by the composer D. Shostakovich. The film is dedicated to the pioneers, innovators in art. People who were ahead of their time. And, most importantly, were fearless to go against the tide. At the cost of their own well-being, and often life. The main characters of the film are writers N. Gogol and M. Bulgakov, director Vs. Meyerhold, and composer D. Shostakovich.
