Born in 1969 in Ramenskoye (Moscow Oblast).
In 1995 she graduated from the acting department of GITIS (class of V. Levertov).
In 2000, she starred in the American film POSTMARK PARADISE. She made her directorial debut with the feature THE DAUGHTER (2012, with A. Kasatkin), which was awarded the Special Prize of the Moscow Premiere IFOC jury.
Directed PETERSBURG. A SELPHIE (novella JUST A CONCERT, 2016), THE PENCIL (2019, Grand Prix of the Tokyo IFF, 2020; nomination for the ASPE Film Academy Award, 2021), etc. Artistic director of the acting course at GITIS.
